"Receiving the Stephan V. Benediktson & SPECEF Scholarship is a tremendous honour for me. I am sincerely grateful to Mr. Benediktson for the legacy he established through his leadership and long-standing support of students pursuing careers in the energy industry, and to the SPECEF Board of Directors and scholarship committee for their continued commitment to supporting and investing in the next generation of engineers. This award will meaningfully reduce financial pressures, allowing me to devote my full attention to academic development, extracurricular involvement, and professional growth. With this support I am able to dedicate additional time to hands-on engineering projects, student organizations and mentorship opportunities as I prepare for a career in the energy sector.
