Energy Literacy Committee
Sean is a part of the 2022-2023 Energy Literacy Committee. He is a professional engineer with more than 12 years of progressive experience in the energy industry. Before his recent leap into entrepreneurship, co-founding an energy technology company, he spent most of his professional career working at Shell in multiple technical and commercial roles across the Americas. Sean was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and has always had a passion for engineering and solving problems. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and completed his MBA at Cornell University.
Energy is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s becoming a more critical and contentious topic from politics to dinner table conversations. This means energy literacy and supporting future energy leaders through scholarships and education is more important than ever. Sean is ready to roll up his sleeves and work with the Energy Literacy team at SPECEF and help make a positive impact across Canada.
