"I am an Engineering Science student at the University of Toronto. Since my family is currently experiencing financial difficulties, this scholarship truly means a lot to me. I can now focus more on my studies and continue in my extracurricular activities, rather than worry about the financial burdens of my education. This scholarship has motivated me to continue my interests in pursuing a digital engineering career in the petroleum industry.  I hope to have a career in which I can provoke meaningful change, and I am grateful to SPECEF for making me one step closer to my goal.
