Lisa Salahub

Lisa Salahub is the 2024-2025 Scholarships Director.
In her current position as an Evaluation Engineer (E.I.T.) at McDaniel, she assists in the evaluation of oil and gas reserves, including the creation of year-end reserve reports. Currently, her focus is the evaluation of Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) reserves in Canada.
Lisa has previously held positions in the energy industry in Acquisitions and Divestitures Investment Banking, Facilities Engineering, and Reservoir Engineering. She is also a certified K-12 teacher in Alberta and guest teaches at a local school board.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a Biochemical Specialization from the University of Saskatchewan as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. She also holds a Certificate in Professional Communication from the University of Saskatchewan.
Lisa is passionate about using her unique background and experience to increase energy literacy and engage students in the energy industry. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and practicing yoga.
