"Receiving this award will let me focus more on my studies and extra-curriculars as I enter my final year of Chemical Engineering. By having more time to focus on my academic and professional growth, I hope to set myself up to work at the forefront of the energy transition to increase low-carbon and zero-carbon energy production and utilization worldwide. Some areas of interest include the increased interest in nuclear deployments, carbon capture, hydrogen, and geothermal energy."
