“I am so delighted and honored as a recipient of the 2021/2022 SPECEF award as an international student and an active SPE member. I was always actively involved in various extracurricular activities inside and outside the school.

I moved to Calgary more than three years ago from the Southern side of India after completing my Bachelor's in Physics for a successful career in the oil and gas industry. Through my father's friend, I learned about Alberta's oil and gas industry. Ever since I heard about it, I have wanted to be part of this industry as someone who was always passionate about the energy industry. 

This award motivates me to learn more about the industry and be an innovative contributor. And I believe this award will create more successful young energy professionals.”
