Heather Leahey

Finance & Fundraising Committee

Heather is part of the 2025-2026 Finance & Fundraising Committee. Heather serves as a Principal Analyst on Enverus’ Energy Transition Research team, where she leads clean fuels intelligence efforts. Since joining a predecessor of Enverus (RS Energy Group) in 2018, she has covered U.S. shale plays and emerging carbon capture technologies, and has shared her expertise with operators, financial services, academia, and government organizations across North America and internationally.

 

Heather graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Chemical Engineering & Management and earned her CFA charter in 2023. She previously worked in engineering roles at Birchcliff Energy and ConocoPhillips. Recognized as one of Hart Energy’s Women of Influence (2023) and a 2024 Young Women in Energy award winner, Heather is passionate about advancing innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.

 

Based in Calgary, she enjoys hiking, running, travelling, and giving back through volunteer work with Special Olympics, motionball, SPE, and other community organizations.
