Lesley James

Scholarship Committee

Lesley is a team member on the 2020-2021 Scholarship Committee. Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, she knew from a young age that Engineering was where she was meant to be. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Lesley is currently an Associate Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Lesley became a part of the SPE Canadian Educational Foundation so that she could contribute to the Society of Petroleum Engineers in a meaningful way. As much as Lesley loves to contribute to the Oil & Gas and Energy industry through education and volunteering, her true hobby is out at the barn with the horses.
