"Hamzeh Alimohammadi is a PhD candidate at UoC, working on different aspects of data analytics in development of unconventional shale and tight reservoirs. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in petroleum engineering and has more than ten years of experience in the energy industry. He studies improved event and anomaly detection, multivariate time-series forecasting, and optimal decision-making in development of unconventional plays. SPECEF scholarship is an excellent support for him to continue tackling the challenges faced to develop oil and gas resources in Western Canada."
