Francis Letendre

Francis is part of the 2023-2024 Finance and Fundraising Committee.

 

Francis hails from Montreal and moved West after university to join Canada’s energy industry. He has 12 years of energy industry experience across a variety of different functions and assets, and explored many different facets of the industry. Through his career, Francis had the opportunity to work in operations, completions, business planning and strategy with Shell, and more recently, in development engineering at Crescent Point Energy. His focus is strategic decision making, continuous improvement and embedding economics in a technical field. 

 

He holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal and is a CFA Charterholder.

 

Having witnessed the evolution of the energy industry over the past decade has motivated Francis to get involved with SPECEF and join the discussion on energy literacy and engage with future energy leaders. Outside of work, Francis loves to play guitar, hike and chase after his two young boys.
