"When I received news that I was selected as a recipient of the SPECEF General Scholarship Award, I was grateful because it meant that not just one person, but a group of people believe in what I do and what I will do with my future. Growing up, I always pictured myself changing the world and helping others through my zeal for problem-solving. Today, I stand as a woman in STEM working towards my degree in Process Engineering, making a difference in my community as a Director of International Representation. And by being awarded this scholarship, my financial load was lightened, allowing me to continue focusing on successfully completing my education and goals.
