Lisa Hardy

Energy Literacy Committee

Lisa is part of the 2022-2023 Energy Literacy Committee. Born in Calgary, Lisa has spent the majority of her life in Alberta having also lived in Bonnyville and Drayton Valley. Growing up around the oil industry, Lisa decided to follow in her dad’s footsteps with a career in the oil and gas industry, graduating from Chemical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary. Lisa has worked for several different E&P companies around town and is currently working at TAQA North as an Asset Manager, developing the Montney in the Grand Prairie region.

Growing up in Alberta and being a part of the ever-changing energy landscape has increased Lisa’s desire to help communicate a positive message to the community around energy and energy development. Lisa’s goal in being part of SPECEF Energy Literacy committee is to be able to reach younger people and better understand their viewpoints on energy development and work to have positive conversations and actions to build a better energy future.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family (running her three kids around to all of their activities), travelling as often as possible, and spending time outdoors with her husband and new puppy.
