Erin is part of the 2022-2023 Energy Literacy Team! She is a champion for sustainable energy solutions that can transform the world. As an energy-industry professional with more than a decade of experience in engineering, sustainability, and innovation across all phases of value creation, Erin is working to transform the industry through early investments in companies that have the potential to disrupt the energy industry. With previous roles spanning both strategy and leadership, she has been an influential thought leader across major North American energy enterprises. As a Principal at Evok Innovations, she brings her expertise in business strategy & operations to the center of all Evok investments.
Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical & Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia (2013) and an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary (2020). She’s an active volunteer in clean technology and diversity ventures, and she has been recognized by the Globe & Mail as one of Canada’s top 50 “Changemakers” in business.
Erin’s passion for the energy industry emerges from a desire to make the world a better place through technological innovation, collaboration, and a little bit of imagination. With Erin’s involvement on the SPECEF Committee, she hopes to build energy awareness and enthusiasm among younger generations.
Beyond her passion for energy and sustainability, you will most likely find her mountaineering out in the backcountry of Kananaskis with her young family.
